Upcoming Event: Kayuhan Amal Anak Merdeka (Trans de' Johor 14)

In conjunction with our Independence Day on 31 August 2014, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor is organising what they reckon as the largest cycling event across Johor to spread the message of adopting a healthy lifestyle. To-date, a total of 80 participants have signed up for the event.

The participants will cycle a total of 614 km and will be flagged off from the UTM campus itself.

The theme of the campaign is ‘Gaya Hidup Sihat’ (Healthy Living Lifestyle) and part of its objective is to raise funds from the public for MAKNA.

To add more excitement to the campaign, there will be a carnival held for 10 days starting 21 August 2014 in Sri Gading and Bandar Tiram. The other activities that will take place are health awareness talks, visiting patient homes through the care services run by i-CARE, volunteering to clean up beach areas and cancer leaflets distributions to the public.
