The fundamental reason for MAKNA to carry out this campaign is to encourage men to be more proactive, to take ownership of their health and be aware of early signs of prostate and testicular cancer.
#TheUltimateShaveOff MAKNA is carrying out this campaign to increase awareness and encourage more open and frequent conversation about prostate and testicular cancer, which are not getting as much exposure as compared to other forms of cancer. In keeping with the theme of MOVEMBER, the campaign premise is to have men grow their moustache or beard from September until November then have an ‘Ultimate Shave Off’ towards the end of the campaign.
